Measures of Asymmetry
- Skewness
- Whether the data is concentrated on one side.
- The direction of the skew is counterintuitive.
- Positive (Right) Skew
- Right skewness, means the outliers are on the right.
- Mean is bigger than the median
- Mode is the value with the highest visual representation

- Mean = Median = Mode

- Left skewness, means the outliers are on the left.
- Mean is smaller than median

- Skewness tells us where the data is situated.
- Link between central tendency measures and probability theory, which allows us to get a more complete understanding on the data.
