God Jul!

Dear friends,

It's been an incredibly productive winter, following a season of quiet turmoil. Under the Surface is, quite thankfully, behind us. Goodbye Susto has arrived, and thanks to the hard work of K, it saw its release just in time for the impending holiday. We wanted to give you a gift: A new chapter. Wow. So new. Much upheaval.

You find your way to it by locating the ‘read’ page in the drop down thingy. Or just click here:

To paraphrase the great Mark Twain, the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. To be honest, I hadn’t the foggiest idea that folk thought I was dead. At this point, I feel the impulse to apologize for my continued existence.

Spoiler coming ahead if you haven’t already heard...

I am very much alive, albeit somewhat worse for wear. Not that anybody ever asked (really, you all could have asked K). I will in the very least apologize for rousing your concern.

In other news, we just released the soundtrack for Under the Surface over on that Bandcamp thing:

The holidays can be hard. But they can also be a time of contemplation. A chance to reflect on the previous year and rekindle hope for the coming one. In a time where it sometimes feels like hope is all we have to hang on to, I wish all of you all of the hope in the world.

           **Love, Axel**
