14.ANOTHER BROADCAST FROM 1992! 📼.mp4
Remember my friend with those local VHS tapes? She was digging through her collection and stumbled on another tape that has one of these things in it. This one was on a recording of the Season Finale of "In The Heat of the Night" in May 1992. Lo and behold, it's the same one I posted a few days ago!
We used to watch "In The Heat of the Night" in my family back in the day. Maybe I should add it to my binge list - my 7-year-old memories remember it being pretty good.
My friend loaned me the tape to digitize on my equipment; she had to head out of town for a few days and didn't have time to do it herself. And.. she still wants to stay anonymous. I told her that I haven't been arrested for these yet, but she's still skittish.
BTW... Matthew Bird suggested I read "The Man Who Awoke" by Lawrence Manning in a comment a week or two ago so I ordered a copy on eBay. I'm only about halfway through book one, but it's great so far - especially realizing it was written in 1933! I really wonder why I'd never heard of this book before - the note on the fly leaf from Isaac Asimov captures my wonder perfectly:
