Synopsis

Network technology helps provide end-to-end solutions to connect devices; allowing seamless sharing of applications and data.  By the end of the module, student will be able to articulate network communication technologies using OSI and TCP/IP models, and to design and implement network setup for small and medium enterprises.

Module Learning Outcomes

At the end of this module, students will be able to:

1. Explain how internet and network technologies are used in everyday life.
2. Describe the OSI Reference Model and TCP/IP Networking Model used in communication.
3. Implement IPv4 addressing and subnetting and describe IPv6 addressing structure.
4. Implement basic network connectivity between network devices including wireless LAN.
