We received a rather odd letter in the mail today from “Alexia Pseudonymous.” The stamp at the bottom all but spells it out, though. This has to be a letter from Astrid, head of A23. We must be moving up in the world. It seems pretty straightforward though, we get the book for her, and she “rewards us handsomely.” Yeah right. This reeks of a setup. Not to mention I’m not really in the mood to break international laws right now, and last I checked, the Vatican is not an Indigo Country. I would like to know why Astrid needs the Grand Grimoire, but I also think we should play it smart.

Well, we sure are popular. We got another letter, well email, this time from the other Cafe and Diner. Not sure which 8 sent it, but I have a pretty good guess. Anyway, here’s what they said:
SUBJECT: COFFEE MAIL-ORDER
BODY: So you’ve recently received a dodgy letter from A, aye? Yeah, yeah, that A. Boss of A23, A. Howsi know that? Well, let’s just say things are going south for us over here fast. The Dark is making some rather extreme moves. Got themselves a choice little birdy. No, no, not that Bird- you know what I mean. Anyway, I’ve worked with Astrid in the past, and she’s a right toff little brat. But that book she’s looking for, Grand Grimoire, yeah? Let’s just say… Someone already nicked it.
On an unrelated note, we’re sending the Big Guy over with a mail-order of coffee for safekeeping.
This is premium coffee. Not for Astorians. Choice? Do not give this coffee to them. Also, don’t give it to any other heaps of coke who might be looking for it. Just keep it somewhere safe for us while we do a bit of damage control.

Doesn’t take a genius to figure out what coffee we have coming our way. Although, when did they have the time to get it? Also, what the heck is happening in Florida? Well, now that we’re freed up a bit, maybe we should do something to help. I’ll see what ex-26 has to say once he gets here.
