I might have finished uploading the tapes, but that doesn't mean I'm done thinking about them. These things are still haunting me a bit I guess. I've really wanted to try to confirm some of this all - anything really. Which got me thinking.
The other day I had a bit of time off work. I live close enough to Fort Ritchie that I could wander down there and explore. There's activity, but not tons - a bit of culvert work here, some weed whacking there. Enough activity that me wandering around didn't look too out of place, I guess. Walk somewhere confidently enough and folks really don't ask questions.
Here's some of the footage I shot. I explored a few different buildings looking for any scrap of evidence I could find on the tapes or the things they're describing at the Fort. I wish I had found a big juicy filing cabinet to share - but no luck.
I did stumble on one artifact I couldn't resist; it was pinned to a cork board in one of the buildings. I hope folks can forgive me for taking it as a souvenir. The elements were only going to wipe it away in time anyways: https://i.imgur.com/64SPfaa.jpg
One last thing... I was digging around amongst my VHS tapes the other day and found something I hadn't noticed before: coasters. There was a note rubber banded to them - "for your friends." I don't really have any friends and I don't need all 10 coasters - so I can drop one into the mail for any of you out there interested. Just toss your address into this form and I'll get them in the mail this week if I can (only have 9 to share, so act quick I guess?):

None.
Thetired Scot: Shame nothing else could be found.
FTAA Archive: There's gotta be more - but getting access is the issue. I felt dicey even being in the spots I was.
