Unearthly Horrors (2016-2017)

(Duck’s notes: Due to the different plot threads, I’ll be using different colours to mark them: The main plot (expanding the Cafe) is in black, Jason is in red, and Mr. Perez is in orange.)

• CAD301 - 5/11/16: J.L. (Jackie, the Third Cafe’s 8) checks in. She’s been given a CaDCom and a task to rebuild the Cafe and Diner after the S.C. was destroyed. She met Sophie (Belphegor), who gave her that mission, as well as the Mantle of 8. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have much to work with since most of the files were destroyed by Astoria.
• C-CAD302 - 5/12/16: J.L. discovers how the CaDComs work, like the different levels (Diner, Cafe and And, corresponding to nothing, C- and CD- or DD-), that saying the letter 8 will attract certain entities, and that demons can’t think laterally.
• C-CAD303 - 5/13/16: Sophie gives J.L. another machine, known as the O.S.A or the ‘Tester Tool’. It allows J.L. to track down the residue (Blood) of demons. One’s been wandering around the city, so that’s her first target.
• FRI01 - 5/14/16: J.L. sends her intended log into the wrong security channel, and it glitches out.
• C-FRI02 - 5/15/16: The actual message goes something like this - She’s decided to codename the demon ‘Jason’ (future Mrs. Weekend/Friday), because it was found on a Friday the 13th, and lists a bunch of readings from the O.S.A. that Jason triggered - ‘-0.023L -0.003M +53.299S, 0B, -0.0004BB, -2.34L, 1.53A 0E 0EE 0EEE’. I’ll fill in what those mean once I know what they are. She then tries to add M.J. (’Mikey’, future 62 of the T.C.), her school friend, to the CaD.
• DAB01 - 5/16/16: M.J. joins. He thinks the Cafe and Diner is an ARG and tries to decode the numbers, thinking they’re some coordinates for a deaddrop.
• C-DAB02 - 5/17/16: M.J. finds the CaD’s base of operations. He goes ‘wow this game has a high budget’ and figures out what the numbers mean - Lucifer, Mammon, Satan, Belphegor, Beelzebub, Levithan, Asmodeus, Elder, Nephilistic Elder, and Extracyclical Elder. The higher the number, the more linked to that thing the demon is. Thus, since Jason’s linked to Satan the most, he’s Hauntaurskaldian.
• ACL01 - 5/18/16: J.L. pursues another case, calling it Mr. Perez (a Chupacabra).
• DAB03 - 5/19/16: M.J. gets a new reading in the Cafe itself, with it most likely being a Nephilistic Elder and from the Morningstar. And he still thinks it’s a game.
• C-ASP01 - 5/20/16: The Blood Signature (the reading) is gone now. Also, J.L. has another one for M.J. to interpret.
• ACL02 - 5/21/16: M.J. seems to be in denial that this isn’t a game. Anyway, Mr. Perez is most linked to the Infernus. Perez has also been seen by Seth (future 2213), J.L.’s friend.
• C-ACL03 - 5/22/16: J.L., M.J. and Seth all see Perez while talking about the Cafe. It’s a chupacabra, and immediately runs away once they all scream. There’s also a mention of the CaD’s classification of monsters.
• CAD304 - 5/23/16: S.W., aka Seth, joins the CaD. He’s the designated chupacabra wrangler, since he’s had experience with dealing with pets. Their goal is to send them back to Ottawa, or the Otherside.
• ACL04 - 5/24/16: S.W. traps Perez in a box. He’s now inside the physical Cafe, and is currently staying there until they figure out how to send him back to the Otherside.
• ASP02 - 5/25/16: S.W. meets a strange girl who claimed to be a former CaD member. She gives them instructions to go to DeForest Park to send Perez back.
• C-DAB04 - 5/26/16: M.J. theorises that Mammon’s Plane, the Infernus, is probably linked to DeForest Park.
• CAD305 - 5/27/16: S.W. tries to go there, but Perez escapes and causes a ruckus. The CaD isn’t exposed, but one of their old classmates, A.I. (Amber, future 53), recognises S.W. and asks to join the CaD.
• CC-ACLA - 5/28/16: A.I. and S.W. have a chat regarding how to deal with the Perez leak.
