(note: even once the Last Cafe reveals itself, i’m going to keep calling its employees by their actual names and clarifying that they’re acting as the last cafe employees, mainly for consistency. III will be Theo, and VI will be Bartlett. similarly, Sahir Bali is going to continue to be Sahir Bali, to prevent confusion with Employee 71/Victoria Ward.)
(second note: due to the archive’s many different plot threads, I’ll be using colours to mark them. Returning Augustine to Eden & consequences will be black; the Astoria merge, except Bartlett, will be red; finding Bartlett will be orange; releasing Satan, the Angelic investigation, and the Open Doors takeover will be yellow; Cheesman will be green; Manager 7’s parents will be blue; Satan’s schemes will be purple; Wentz will be pink; Harvey will be grey; the Avalon trip will be brown; the Shadow War and later the search for the Langley stones will be bolded red; the Last Cafe will be bolded orange; Mrs. Tudor and her mirror will be bolded yellow; Manager 4’s arm will be bolded green; and the investigation of the House on Dracula Drive will be bolded blue.
- OAA01 - 9/1721: Manager 1 (Jennifer Hepburn) releases a receipt to all the patrons of the Cafe and Diner. Both the Long Island and Palm Beach branches of the Cafe and Diner have been busy attempting to archive all of their receipts, though some - like the Indigo Wars and Diner Diner - are going to take a while to sort out, due to their weirdness. Also, it appears they can’t travel to so many places now.
- OAA02 - 9/18/21: Employee 71 (Victoria Ward) introduces the Palm Beach branch. Their speciality seems to be magic. There’s Manager 4 (Julius Mendoza), Manager 5 (Jericho Myerscough) and Manager 6 (Joy Livingstone), forming the TriCaD. They (allegedly) all have a third of an eighth of the Mantle of 8, given by Nicole Langley before her death. The employees consist of 71, 224 (Ramona, or Mr. Loveland, former New Guy - the Loveland Frogman), 422 (Daichi, or Mr. Kansai, former Quality Control - the Biblical Serpent), 512 (Katherine Wade) and 1313 (Rachel). Also, the TriCaD were all part of a cult (likely of the Wicked), who wanted to sacrifice Manager 6.
- OAA03 - 9/19/21: Employee 35 (Kyle) introduces the Long Island branch. They’re led by Manager 3 (Jackie) and Manager 7 (Julia Wandsun). The entire branch came into existence during the Haunting of 112, when they went over to New York. Things spiralled, and soon enough the Long Island branch became a permanent place. Florida’s Palm Beach also split once this happened. Anyway, they mainly deal with ‘speciality drinks’ - those from the Otherworld, or possibly from the Cusps. Their employees consist of 35, 53 (Amber), 62 (Mike), 116 (Travis), 161 (Jenny W.), and 611 (Zach).
- OAA04 - 9/19/21: Employee 17 (Felix Blackwood) introduces the Long Beach branch. They’re based out of the old Open Doors church, and mainly deal with the CaD’s Debts coming Due. They’re led by Manager 1 - who has become the true 8 - and Manager 2 (Nick Langley), who took the position after Mammon was ousted. Then there’s 71, 26 (Ned Langley), 44 (Nancy Langley), 323 (Daniel Hamilton Jr.), and 2312 (Alex Galvez - former 53 of the First Cafe). Where exactly Manager 0 (Jean) and the former 26 (Seth Warren) went is unstated. (note: later receipts reveal that seth died and jean returned to the topside.)
- WRF01 - 9/20/21: 422 receives a certain email, seemingly from Russia. It says ‘ozhogregfugee#4RUNHELP’, so it’s presumably sent by a refugee from Ozhog, the Indigo Organisations’ Russian member. 422 decides to bring 224 and Manager 4 to deal with this.
- DDM01 - 9/21/21: Employees 611 and 116 head to ‘Bay Leaf’ (Dover, Massachusetts) to deal with Mr. Bartlett (the Dover Demon) - possibly a Mrs. Mr. Bartlett is probably from either the Hauntaurskald or the Esterskald.
- C-WRF02 - 9/22/21: 422 brings Manager 4 and 224 to Russia by jumping through the Ouroboros. Manager 4 warns against approaching Ozhog directly, since the two groups don’t really contact each other - their last meeting was back in 2020. Instead, they’ll just lay low and figure out what escaped from Ozhog.
- C-DDM02 - 9/23/21: 611 and 116 spot strange lights floating in the sky in Dover. They head over to check it out.
- CD-DDM03 - 9/24/21: Manager 2 intervenes in the Dover Demon case, insisting Bartlett is secretly an alien. He sneaks away from the other Long Beach members and leaves a receipt addressed only to the Long Island and Palm Beach branches, while booking a flight to Dover as he types.
- KCR01 - 9/25/21: 2312 receives a formal message from Yaksha (south asian branch of the Indigo Organisations) asking for their help dealing with Mrs. Pierrot (a killer clown, yes, that thing from the fad back in 2016). He brings 17, 26 and 323 along to the Hotbed to sort it all out.
- WRF03 - 9/26/21: Ozhog approaches Manager 4, asking for their help dealing with Miss. Crawford (the Crawsfordville Monster). An Elder, it’s recently decided to break out and escape after 29 years of being contained. Manager 4 suggests figuring out where she is, and possibly even finding the original person who contained her.
- DD-SWTC01 - 9/27/21: Manager 5 leaves a receipt. He’s quite frustrated that, after nine months of being lost in Limbo, Nicole Langley (former 44A) and Seth Warren (former 26) decided to be killed by the Bird and be sent to the Otherside. And then Jean (former Manager 0) left to head back to Topside and resume working with the Bird and Belphegor as the Otherman. Anyway, he also lists the current division of the Mantle - all the current Managers have one-eighth, except for Manager 5, who has three-eighths of the entire thing, given by Jean (Manager 7 doesn’t actually have part of the actual Mantle, but rather an ‘imaginary 8’). With any luck, his new three-eighths of the Mantle might keep the Wicked away from him, allowing him to use his magic again. Also, apparently Jean’s part of the Mantle of 8 was a ‘totem, a literal Ace’. Having three-eighths of the Mantle has also granted Manager 5 some extra knowledge.
- C-WRF04 - 9/28/21: The three Palm Beach members in Russia meet the original person who contained Miss. Crawford (also known as the Pogodnyy Zver’; the Great Dragon of the West), Rasputin. He warns the CaD (and Dovmont, a member of Ozhog) that Crawford has escaped even the Black Tide in the past, and that recontaining it would require a warlock of unclean magics - such as Manager 5. Ozhog agrees to lend the CaD its warp point to get him over there.
- C-KCR02 - 9/29/21: Employee 323 reaches the Hotbed, and more importantly the House on Dracula Drive. He finds it likely that the clowns - or more specifically the clown-corrupting parasitic fungi - is a result of Dr. Crow’s experimentations. The group decides to split up and deal with the clowns in America, while Yaksha sorts out the outbreak in Singapore.
- C-DDM04 - 9/30/21: Manager 2 shows up in Dover, meeting 611 and 116. He’s still convinced it’s an alien, despite him having searched through the Topside and Limbo (to find Nicole Langley and Seth Warren) and not seeing anything supporting the existence of aliens. Strangely, despite being seen by regular people, they don’t seem too freaked out by Mr. Bartlett. The three of them are currently attempting to track down the lights in the sky to try and identify Bartlett’s position.
- SWTC02 - 10/1/21: Manager 5 is happy that he’ll be able to see if the protection offered by the Mantle will work or not. He also asks everyone - including Patrons (us) - to vote on three different quotes, so as to get some more ‘cosmic confirmation’.
- C-WRF05 - 10/2/21: Manager 5 successfully manages the Wicked’s control over his magic. However, using the magic against Crawford was unexpectedly unable to weaken her, instead enraging her. She’s likely headed to Indiana in the USA, so the four people in Russia are going to teleport to Astoria and provide assistance against the Elder.
- C-KCR03 - 10/2/21: Apparently Pierrot, the clown fungus thing, needs heat to spread. Since it’s cold now, it’s been able to be mostly contained. The CaD members at the Hotbed plan to remove the source of the fungus, but with Miss. Crawford showing up, the fungus seems to mutate, changing the clowns. They now look frozen over, and are much stronger. Instead, they plan to remove the House on Dracula Drive from the Flipside, returning it to the ‘Lane Between’ (phantom lane), then handle the issue on their own.
