Twice-Third Temple (2017-2018)

(Duck’s notes: Due to the different plot threads, I’ll be using different colours to mark them. The main plot - dealing with the TTT - will be in black, the Quartz Brain Cocktail will be in red, the Blood Moon will be in orange, Hyer’s stuff will be in yellow, the Astoria raid(s) will be in green, Pleasant will be blue, the Deep Corp will be in purple, the Other Cafe will be in pink,)

• QBZ01 - 8/1/17: 4121 (Jenny W), attempts to make a ‘Quartz Brain Cocktail’, utilising something called ‘gnosis’, mainly to learn more about the Otherside and be better prepared following 'what happened with Casey'.
• C-QBZ02 - 8/2/17: Quartz Brain Cocktail is revealed to be something linked to Second-Vision, something that both Jennifer Hepburn (F.C. 35) and the original Owner had (see Open Doors). The Owner got it from Lucifer, while Hepburn was (allegedly) born with it. Five other possible options are using Chaos Magic/a Gnosis, which has the downside of maybe not being able to see into the Otherside; Eoa Magic, which should DEFINITELY not be messed with cause that thing’s apparently a bigger bad than the Princes; dreaming somehow; doing ‘eggless travel‘ (not sure if that’s linked to the Tuskkin Egg); and sending in a regular drone which is probably very unreliable. Also, another option is to wait for ‘eql’, whatever that is.
• HNY01 - 8/3/17: 3311 (Travis) goes to investigate Mrs./Miss. Honey in Violet Crown, a town in ‘Lone Star’ (texas?), bringing 3113 along as well.
• HNY02 - 8/4/17: 3311 notices strange flies appearing around Mrs. Honey, which is unnatural compared to similar monsters. He suspects it’s a ‘lemon-scented situation’ and asks for backup from either 17 (Ashlyn) or 53 (Amber, aka A.I.), two of the managers.
• C-HNY03 - 8/4/17: 3113 (Tyler?) elaborates on the flies, mentioning that they're 'swarming' around them. The flies don't seem like they're from the Otherside, but it's possible that Mrs. Honey brought some other demon with her from the Esterskald that is associated with flies.
• HNY04 - 8/5/17: 3311 and 3113 notice that the completely regular flies have essentially 'blotted out' the sky because of how many of them there are, with the flies' density increasing as they get nearer to Mrs. Honey.
• HNY05 - 8/5/17: Turns out the flies bite. It's very unpleasant. Since the conditions are so unbearable, 3113 and 3311 will spend some time setting up to send Honey back in one go, and then instantly get out of there.
• C-QZB03 - 8/6/17: 4121 temporarily gains second vision by utilising the Ganzfeld Effect and then sees a circle, likely a sigil, while in the trance. From there she was able to view the Otherside for a second or two before it faded.
• BMB01 - 8/7/17: 11411 (Zach B.), a new recruit, leaves his first receipt mentioning how the recent Blood Moon has just caused a huge influx of demons from the Otherside to appear. Astoria's also completely emptied out, likely to handle this situation. 11411 suggests letting Astoria handle it, but warns the CaD to be prepared if they can't contain all of them and suggests seeing i 4121's Quartz Brain Cocktail can't help. Finally, he mentions that there's going to be yet another eclipse (or cosmic event) that'll be even worse, in 14 days.
• C-HNY06 - 8/8/17: 3113 and 3311 handle Mrs. Honey and send her back. They've also rescued a person eaten by Mrs. Honey, who's thankfully not in critical danger but still toxined-up, so they'll return to their hotel and just look after the guy until he reawakens. Lastly, 3311 suggests inviting Astoria to clean up Honey's mess for them.
• C-HNY07 - 8/9/17: The undigested person recovers. Together with 3311 and 3113, they decide to have him head back into the sewer and come out again claiming he killed Mrs. Honey, then go tell the newspaper about it. Likely, Astoria will catch wind of this and clean it up.
• CD-HNY08 - 8/9/17: Ray, from Division X-Ray, shows up at the CaD's base with a bill for his work - though he did promise not to tell the rest of Astoria that the CaD was involved. He also told 3113 to say how much he appreciates the CaD, since these days of peace won't last forever. Just in case.
• HNY09 - 8/10/17: 3311 wraps up the Mrs. Honey case by giving a quick summary of its events, mentioning how Mrs. Honey had been eating people so the CaD put a quick stop to that, and reminding them that the flies are still a mystery.
• FSTF01 - 8/10/17: The fly investigation is passed over to the 'Triple Threat': Managers 125 (Miranda), 134 (Brent Hearse) and 224 (Victoria Ward). It's likely these flies are being caused by a customer, temporarily designated 'Mr. Diptera'. 3113 suggests that the flies may be moving along with Diptera, so that might be able to help them track him down (along with whatever skills the Triple Threat has).
• C-QZB04 - 8/11/17: 4121 leaves a receipt detailing how to use the Quartz Brain Cocktail (though it's still rather unsafe), and decides that next step for this is to make sure she won't go blind via overuse of this.
• FSTF02 - 8/11/17: 125 complains about how unpleasant it is to investigate dead flies during summer in Texas. On a more serious note, she decides to start trying to track down how the flies are linked to Mrs. Honey, since when she was killed the flies also drop dead. Also, 134's been gathering some of those flies to do some 'experiments' on them, which will hopefully reveal a link to Honey.
• QZB05 - 8/12/17: 4121 writes an official conclusion to the Quartz Brain Cocktail, detailing how it allows them to see into the Otherside, but with aftereffects. The Sigils that comprise the Cocktail could likely be altered for different effects, but the 'hangovers' are definitely also a concern.
• C-FSTF03 - 8/12/17: 134 realises that the flies aren't exactly regular flies. By adding heavy water to acetone, you can get a 'soul-dissolving solvent' that will ignite when in contact with a soul attached to a corpse. Of course, this doesn't usually happen, but these flies somehow have their souls still in their bodies. 134's current theory is that these flies were actually eating Mrs. Honey's victims' souls, though further testing will be required.
