From Memoirs of Death, Chapter: Sigil
They failed. Volty, Miss Freya, Faustus, Archaicjinn... They were waiting for Luna and SecretCode to join, but they arrived too late. Time thought they can help, but now, he even thought they were working with the other side. Message Time sent from the future was not decrypted, therefore once the Visitors came, no one was prepared. Death and destruction was about to happen and he knew it the second he saw huge ship above the city. It was too late now.
"I am sorry my friend" - I approached him. Sky become dark as ship blocked the sun. For him story about visitors was about to finish.
"Is there something I can wish for before we go?" he said, and I knew what he is going to ask. His passion on solving the puzzles was too strong, and he didn't want to give up in all universes although this one is over. In the end, he already done it once before by sending the message to the past, hoping they will have enough time to gather and solve it.
"In one of the realities, someone will solve the message on time, and because of what you have done here, that world will be saved" - I tried to comfort him.
His eyes filled with tears. It looked like he felt that mission was completed even both of us knew it wasn't.
"Can I at least know who were the visitors?" - he asked politely.
"I will tell you everything along the way" - I touched his shoulder and the sky turned blue again.
